The MAXAIR Respiratory Protection System's hose-free design provides freedom of movement in a NIOSH HE-rated system. It provides high-level protection from dust and mist particles, and from aerosolized and blood-borne pathogens. The system provides HEPA-level protection of the entire face, head and neck with an assigned protection factor (APF) of 10(X) and above compared to N95 dust masks, which have an APF of five. The system maintains a continuous positive pressure airflow, is whisper-quiet, light weight, cool, non-fogging, and eliminates the need for "fit testing".
