Current Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy Prescription Options
From Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients, 5/1/01 by Tori Hudson

The following medications are prescription products, made by pharmaceutical companies, of exclusively natural hormones; (plant derived and biochemically identical to endogenous hormones). These products often contain a filler, binder, or preservative that is not included in the same dosage and hormone preparation obtained from a compounding pharmacist. Contact your local compounding pharmacist, the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (900-927-4227; 713-933-8400) for a member pharmacist in your area, or one of the mail order compounding pharmacies-example/Women's International Pharmacy (1-800-279-5708). Ask for a doctor's packet from the Women's International Pharmacy.
