Epirubicin

Epirubicin is an anthracycline drug used for chemotherapy. Similarly to other anthracyclines, it acts by intercalating DNA strands.

It is favoured over doxorubicin, the most popular anthracycline, in some chemotherapy regimens as it appears to cause less side-effects.
