The otoscopic view is that of a left ear with four exostoses, which are asymptomatic but so large that they might cause an obstruction. A large exostosis protrudes from the posterior inferior external auditory canal and another large one from the anterior canal wall. A smaller exostosis involves the superior canal wall, and the smallest one involves the posterior superior canal wall. There is adequate space to admit a suction tip to aspirate debris.
