The Kocher-Debré-Semelaigne syndrome is a (myopathy) of hypothyroidism in infancy or childhood characterised by lower extremity or generalized muscular hypertrophy, myxoedema, short stature and cretinism. The syndrome is named after Emil Theodor Kocher, Robert Debré and Georges Semélaigne.
