Cramer demonstrates with Alcatel new IPTV BSS/OSS solution

Enterprise software provider Cramer announced on Thursday (10 November) that it is demonstrating with Alcatel, a solutions provider for the telecomms industry, a new IPTV BSS/OSS solution.

According to the companies, the new triple play BSS/OSS solution combines Alcatel's equipment and integration capabilities with Cramer's enterprise inventory platform, delivering a comprehensive approach to triple play service delivery and support.

Cramer and Alcatel are reportedly demonstrating their solution at the Alcatel Operational Support Systems integration laboratory in Plano, Texas. The demo features on-demand IPTV delivered over Ethernet connections, using the Alcatel 7330 ISAM FTTN, 7450 Ethernet Service switch, and 7750 Service Router, with Cramer involved with all aspects of service delivery, content management and service assurance.

No financial details were disclosed.
