CostDoctor Inc., the leader in activity-based costing software for physicians, today announced the signing of a strategic marketing agreement with Organon Inc.
Organon Inc.'s sales force will provide 20,000 obstetricians and gynecologists across the United States with the innovative cost analysis software designed to help medical professionals maximize office performance through in-depth analysis and practical applications.
"Our collaboration with Organon is extremely exciting, because physicians will now have a tool that will take their cost and margin analysis to a new and deeper level," said Dr. Kaylen Silverberg, Chairman and Founder of CostDoctor Inc. "The CostDoctor software will allow physicians to meet the dual challenges of increasing costs and declining reimbursements. By providing physicians with a tool to better manage their costs, better evaluate their reimbursements and ultimately better preserve the profitability of their practice, physicians can focus on the most important goal of all, the health and well-being of their patients."
"As a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, Organon has long since demonstrated its commitment to women's health. We have always placed a great emphasis on strategic research alliances in terms of drug research and development," said Hans Radder, President, Organon Inc. "But in today's environment it is vitally important to understand all of the factors critical to delivering the very best health care. We believe that our relationship with CostDoctor further supports our commitment to support the medical community with products and services for better health care."
Under the terms of the agreement, Organon's field sales force will distribute an introductory version of the software to obstetricians and gynecologists. CostDoctor software can be used to uncover fundamental information that is critical to maximizing office efficiencies and uncover the true costs associated with providing quality medicine in a challenging and evolving healthcare environment.
